Quick Sherbet

Summary
The recipe may seem similar to a smoothie, but it really does come out like sherbet.

What you’ll need
2 cup frozen organic strawberries (you can use almost any fruit, but berries work best)
1/4 cup rice milk
2 tbsp. honey (optional)
1 small mint sprig (optional)

Instructions
Step 1
Put the frozen fruit in the blender and add the rice milk. Use just enough rice milk to get your blender going. If necessary, use a little bit more of less.
Step 2
Add sweetener if desired, and blend until the mixture reaches a smooth, sherbet-like consistency.
Step 3
Garnish with mint sprig and serve immediately.
Step 4
SUBSTITUTIONS: This simple recipe can work with many different fruits. You can use brown rice syrup or maple syrup instead of honey. Get creative when serving. You can hollow out a lemon and spoon the sherbet into the rind to serve it.
